^{There was a slight squeak from the couch as Kenda sat down on one of the soft grey cushions. She grabbed the remote from the stand next the the couch and began flipping through the channels on TV boredly. She used her other, free, hand to pet Rasenjji, who made himself comfortable on the next cushion over from her. There was a soft rubbing against her legs, and Kenda looked down to see a small, black tabby rubbing again her, looking up at her with those big, curiouse cat eyes. "Hey Cat," Kenda sat, patting her legs as if motioning the cat to jump onto her lap, which the she-cat did with bliss in her purr. "How's my fave cat?" Kenda asked, stroking Cat's long, silky fur. Rasenjji wasn't jealous, because he knew that soon Cat would jump off Kenda's lap and run away to hide for some unknown reason, and Kenda would turn her attention back to him, so he just sat there watched the different colors and sounds come from the television. All he heard was some annoying jumble of sounds, but he loved to watch the colors flash by. And, as Rasenjji thought, Cat jumped away from her owner and ran to hide for no reason at all, and Kenda began petting him again as she, once again, began flipping through the channels, looking for something entertaining to watch.}
